Police Clear Mob Outside Rock Concert; 5 Arrested
Police arrested five people while clearing away a rowdy mob of rock fans in front of the Hollywood Palladium over the weekend.
Bottles and stones were thrown at officers during the incident, which occurred just after Saturday’s concert by a group called “The Cramps,” police said Sunday.
One juvenile, whose name was being withheld, was arrested for carrying a bottle filled with sand. Four others in a car in a nearby parking lot were arrested because police said they had bottles filled with sand and were getting ready to throw them at an officer.
