Reagan’s Defiance of World Court
By recently disassociating itself from the jurisdiction of the World Court and by being found guilty of major wrongdoings and violations of the sovereign state of Nicaragua, the U.S. government has absolutely sullied the concept of justice through law.
By choosing violence over law and awarding Reagan’s contra terrorists $100 million, which will intensify the insidious murder, torture and rape of the Nicaraguan people and continue the destruction of the Nicaraguan infrastructure, the U.S. government has virtually negated its integrity as a democratic nation on the international level.
The last nation to ignore a World Court decision did so in 1980 when the Iranian government failed to heed the decision of the World Court to free the American hostages.
By abandoning the World Court and its recent decision, the United States has joined a select group of outlaw nations.
