Train traffic resumed through the site of a tank-car derailment in Miamisburg, Ohio, that spewed toxic phosphorous fumes for five days and forced the evacuation of about 30,000 people. CSX Transportation, the operator of the train that derailed July 8, sent a train across the track at low speeds to check on rebuilt portions of the track and a bridge, Fire Capt. Mike Sennet said. Officials said that workers had removed the last phosphorous from the tank car. Ten families were evacuated as a precaution during the phosphorous removal but later returned to their homes.
