Young Girls Found Slain

TOPEKA, Kan. —
Two young sisters were found slain Sunday in the basement of a house near where they lived, authorities said. The girls, ages 3 and 6, had been reported missing Saturday night and about 20 police officers searched for more than six hours before finding the bodies. Two men who lived in the house were booked on suspicion of first-degree murder, police said.
