BERN, Switzerland —
A body found last week under six feet of ice on a Swiss Alps glacier has been identified as a man who disappeared 72 years ago, police said Tuesday.
Johannes Naegeli, 66, vanished in 1914 on a glacier near the 10,606-foot Mt. Oberaarjoch in central Switzerland. His remains were discovered Thursday when two mountain climbers spotted a boot sticking out from the ice.
