You Don’t Hear Greg Norman Complain
Oh, those poor babies! Talk about sour grapes. The cups at the British Open were painted wrong, and with the wrong kind of paint, and the weather was deplorable and the greens were too narrow, and the list goes on and on.
For professionals, it seems to me, they want everything to be just perfect in order for them to play. They all arrived early enough to decide whether or not they wished to play and if they felt it was too difficult, they could have withdrawn.
Mac O’Grady’s remarks were uncalled for and, being of Scottish heritage, it really makes me angry. The course plays the same for everyone, it seems to me, and you don’t hear Greg Norman complaining.
