The jurors considering the USFL’s $1.69-billion antitrust suit against the NFL resume deliberations today in New York after having requested to see parts of testimony from several witnesses.
The five women and one man have deliberated 15 hours since Thursday afternoon. Some of the subjects discussed in the testimony were the February, 1984 presentation for NFL team executives that concerned strategies for “conquering” the USFL, the NFL’s relationship with the national broadcasting networks, changes in NFL roster sizes and the NFL’s supplemental draft selections of USFL players.
