West Hollywood : Phone Survey to Be Conducted

Share

More than 500 West Hollywood residents will participate in a city-sponsored telephone survey during late August and throughout September.

Results of the poll, known as the Household Survey, will be compiled in October and used by city planners to determine what development issues residents feel strongly about and by city department heads to learn whether West Hollywood’s social programs have been effective.

The survey, to be conducted by the Planning Group, a planning research consulting firm, consists of 32 pages of questions. Each interview, city spokesman Helen Goss said, could take between 30 and 45 minutes to complete. “We’re hoping that people will take the time to answer the survey,” she said.

Goss also said city officials are concerned that the survey might be mistaken for political polls used by candidates competing in a special election this fall for a vacant council seat.
