Entertainer Placido Domingo and industrialist Armand Hammer joined in helping airlift $150,000 in medical supplies from Los Angeles to earthquake-stricken Mexico City General Hospital. The flight was part of Operation California, which has sent more than $1.5 million in aid to Mexico since the disastrous Sept. 19 temblor.
