A retired sheriff’s deputy discovered a decomposed body Tuesday morning in the southeast corner of the county.
Ralph Nunnery noticed a foul odor 60 feet off Old Highway 80 at the 20.5-mile marker near the Imperial County and Mexico borders. He found a decomposed, naked adult corpse and notified the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
