GOP National Chairman Will Run for Third Term

WASHINGTON — Republican National Committee Chairman Frank J. Fahrenkopf Jr. said Thursday that he will seek reelection, at President Reagan’s request. Fahrenkopf, 46, will complete his second two-year term as chairman in January.
