Biblical Names Still Popular Among Jews

NEW YORK —
The most popular names for children born to Jewish families in 1985-86 were “Rachel” and “Adam,” according to a survey by the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism.
The next most popular choices were “Rebecca,” “Jonathan” and “Daniel.”
The results were collected in connection with the league’s new Jewish baby record book, “Welcome to the World.”
