San Diego
The body of a young woman found in the 1300 block of 28th Street in Golden Hill on Friday evening has been identified as Tammy Terrell Williams, 18, of San Diego.
Deputy Coroner Robert Engel said an autopsy was conducted Saturday but the exact cause of death will not be released until today, when toxicological and histological test results are confirmed.
“It is pretty evident that it is a homicide, but the pathologist wants to confirm a few things before he releases his final report,” Engel said.
San Diego Police Department homicide detectives are continuing their investigation.
