24 Arrested in Drug Raids by 100 Deputies
About 100 Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies, including members of the Special Weapons Team, served warrants at more than a dozen locations in the Florence area Friday night and made 24 arrests of narcotics suspects.
Seized in the raids, which also took place in Downey and Bell Gardens, were four handguns, six shotguns, $4,000 worth of cocaine and $20,000 in cash. Fifteen men and nine youths were taken into custody.
