Switzerland, Israel May Delay Cup Match

The Davis Cup zone series between Switzerland and Israel will be rescheduled to Oct. 1-3 if financial considerations can be worked out between the two sides.

The series, the final in the European Zone B, was set for Oct. 3-5. But Israel objected to those dates because of conflicts with the Jewish New Year, which begins at sundown Oct. 3.
