Branches of the Santa Monica Public Library will remain open from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays.
Many library services, such as the reference center operating at the Fairview branch, still will be available on a limited basis.
The popular lunchtime series, Tuesday With Books, will continue. For more information, call (213) 458-8603.
Beginning Sept. 8, the branches also will be open Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
