Fullerton : Drawing to Be Held for ‘Affordable’ Home
Applications are being accepted for a drawing to determine who may buy a “new, affordably priced home” built by Fullerton College students on Redevelopment Agency land.
Only Fullerton residents can apply for the Sept. 26 drawing, which will be conducted by Mayor A. B. (Buck) Catlin at City Hall.
All applicants must have an annual income of less than $43,400 and their own financing arrangements.
They may own no other improved property and must put up a refundable $1,000 deposit and plan to live in the home.
The 1,167-square-foot home, located at 2008 Dorothy Lane, has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace, carpeting, insulation, built-ins and a double garage.
Information on the $93,000 home can be obtained by calling the city’s Engineering and Community Development Department.
