As soon as I read Cindy Koch’s letter concerning too much talk and repetition on KROQ (Calendar Letters, Aug. 10), I knew it was only a matter of time before one of the deejays came on to defend themselves.

Sure enough, on comes Richard Blade explaining that although he does interrupt in-between songs often, it is only to give the station I.D., time, traffic, etc. He then proceeds to talk to deejay Jed the Fish for about five minutes about a movie that he stars in.
