Relatively affordable prices, combined with many standard features are offered in Sierra Homes II, a 54-unit single-family development by Uni-Cal Financial Corp., opening today in Riverside.

The 17 units in the first phase of the two-phase project are available in four one- and two-story floor plans with 1,175 to 1,840 square feet, priced from $101,000 to $120,000. The developer is a wholly owned subsidiary of Union Federal Savings & Loan. September move-ins are planned.

Features include concrete-tile roofs, ceramic tile or wood parquet entries, air conditioning, front-yard landscaping and sprinklers, breakfast nooks and family rooms. Kitchens feature oak cabinets, pantries, Whirlpool appliances and luminous ceilings.

Three furnished models are open daily, except Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 5541 La Sierra Ave., reached from the Pierce Street exit of the Riverside (91) Freeway.
