Koll Co. Buys Ontario Land

The Koll Co. has purchased 9.2 acres of land at the northwest corner of Haven Avenue and the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Ontario from Northview Corp., San Diego, for $3.4 million and plans to begin construction this summer on a business center.

The Koll Haven Business Center, to be built in a joint venture with the William Lyon Co, will include a three-story, 55,000-square-foot office building and a two-story, 35,000-square-foot office building. The architect is Ware & Malcomb Architects, Irvine.

A 150-unit hotel and a restaurant are also planned for the site. Grubb & Ellis represented both parties in the land transaction.
