After witnessing Saturday’s totally insipid lineup, including “Melba,” “The Facts of Life” and “Diff’rent Strokes,” I am turning to you with my plea to ABC and CBS: Please bring back “Hardcastle and McCormick” and “Crazy Like a Fox.” How can the networks cancel these excellent shows and then claim to be concerned about quality?
