“I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.” T.A.P. $19.95. The newest live-action release in the View-Master Video/Warner Brothers Records series “Kidsongs” features insipid arrangements of “London Bridge,” “Frere Jacques,” etc. that are supposed to inspire kids (ages 2 to 10) to sing along. The pablum message is that people are the same everywhere, as a group of children visit different countries. “Funiculi, Funicula” is sung in an Italian restaurant kitchen, where “Mr. World” dumps spaghetti on everyone. The 25-minute tape ends with a long commercial for the series. Information: (503) 644-1181.
