Long Beach : Attorney Named to Bench
Long Beach attorney Christopher R. Conway was appointed to the Long Beach Municipal Court bench this week by Gov. George Deukmejian. Conway, 45, will replace Judge William C. Beverly Jr., who was appointed in November to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Conway, a lawyer since 1966, has been a partner in the law firm of Vandenberg, Conway, Newell, Curtis and Nelson since 1970.
The appointment, which carries an annual salary of $74,432, is effective immediately.
