Hollywood : Group Asks for Woo’s Return
The Hollywood Improvement Assn. has come out against the City Council’s redistricting plan that placed Hollywood in Councilman John Ferraro’s district. The association, made up of about 500 residents who live on the hillside directly below the Hollywood sign, has asked the City Council to return Councilman Michael Woo as representative of the Hollywood community. Woo now represents the 4th District, created by the council because of a court mandate to increase representation of Latino voters.
