Freshman Pete Klaas scored two second-half goals to help the San Diego State soccer team defeat Cal State Fullerton, 6-1, in the nonconference season opener for both teams Saturday night in the Aztec Bowl on the SDSU campus.

The Aztecs took a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by senior Tim Homan and sophomore Kyle Whittemore. The Titans cut the lead to 2-1 on a goal by junior Tom Atencio 20 minutes into the second half.
