Alhambra : Band Shell Work Bids Open
The City Council is seeking bids for renovation of the band shell at Alhambra Park, a project budgeted at $100,000, including the cost of architectural design. Bids will be opened at 11 a.m. Sept. 25. The project is scheduled for completion in time for performances in the park next summer.
Meanwhile, the city has hired the architectural firm of Takata Associates for $21,000 to design new lighting and improvements to the tennis courts and athletic field at Granada Park in a project budgeted at $347,000.
