Pomona : Civic Panel Plans Meetings
The newly formed Committee of 100, an organization of Pomona civic, business and community leaders, has announced that it will hold open weekly meetings to advise the City Council on long-range planning issues. The group, chaired by Councilman E. J. (Jay) Gaulding, is divided into three subcommittees that meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
The environmental/social services subcommittee will meet in the Boards and Commissions Room on the second floor of City Hall, the public safety subcommittee will meet in the Police Conference Room on the second floor of the Police Building and the legislative/administrative subcommittee will meet in the Engineering Conference Room on the first floor of City Hall, according to Bob Norquist, staff liaison to the committee.
