Jordan Premier Briefed on Israel-Egypt Talks

CAIRO —
Egyptian Foreign Minister Esmat Abdel Meguid has briefed Jordan on the summit meeting between President Hosni Mubarak and Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres, the newspaper Al Ahram said Sunday.
Meguid telephoned Jordan’s prime minister, Zaid Rifai, to discuss the two-day summit that ended Friday in Alexandria, Egypt, it said. Details of the call were not disclosed.
