An Irwindale woman who filed a missing house report last week has discovered that you can go home again. Brenda McGinnis was reunited with her house after police found the one-story, white stucco residence sitting in a vacant lot in Altadena. Sgt. Paul Click said the house was apparently moved 12 miles from a remote part of Irwindale to Altadena on the back of a flatbed truck. A caller who had heard about the house theft on television alerted police to its whereabouts. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has no clues in the case, but is keeping an eye on the house to guard against another theft. Click said the Irwindale Police Department would be in charge of any further investigation. “It’s their stolen house,” Click said. “We just found it for them.”
