Authorities were searching for two men, one of them a Los Angeles man, missing in different parts of Fresno County. Sheriff’s Sgt. Greg Burton said Robert Telles of Los Angeles was hunting with his brother in the Mount Tom area of Kaiser Pass east of Fresno when they became lost. The brothers separated and Humberto Telles made it to safety but Robert was still missing at the 9,500-foot level in the Sierra Nevada. Telles reportedly was wearing a couple of heavy shirts and a down vest when last seen, but Burton said snow already has fallen in the area and more is expected. Other searchers in Jeeps were combing muddy logging roads around Jose Basin looking for Tim Moore of Fresno, who went into the forest to cut wood and did not return.
