As the fall season continues to unfold, more new shows will settle into the TV schedule this week. Among them: “Easy Street” and “Designing Women.”
NBC’s “Easy Street,” which has had a couple of “preview” airings, finally takes over its regular time period at 8 p.m. Sundays. Loni Anderson (inset cover photo) stars as a former showgirl who invites her seedy old uncle to live with her after she strikes it rich.
CBS’ “Designing Women” arrives at 9:30 p.m. Monday, starring Annie Potts, Jean Smart, Dixie Carter and Delta Burke (on cover). They’re brought together to run a decorating business in Atlanta in this new sitcom.
