Fountain Valley : 3 Men in Car Held on Cocaine Charges
Three men stopped for a traffic violation were arrested when cocaine was found in their car, police reported Sunday.
Police Sgt. Norm Satterfield said the vehicle was stopped at Harbor Boulevard and Heil Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Satterfield said he did not know the circumstances that led the arresting officer to stop the car, but when he did “the patrol officer said he saw a drug inside the vehicle.”
The three occupants were arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine for sale, Satterfield said.
The suspects were identified as Vern Smith, 46, Lionel Oliver, 27, and Bill Foster, 30. All three were booked into Orange County Jail, and bail for each was set at $25,000.
