The shooting schedule for the “Twilight Zone” film had called for a double to be used in place of actor Vic Morrow during the Vietnam battle scene in which he and two children eventually died, former Warner Bros. vice president Edward Morey testified in the manslaughter trial of director John Landis and four associates. Morey added that doubles are normally used when scenes are considered too dangerous for a film star. Morey served as a liaison between Warner Bros. and Landis on the 1982 Warner-financed film.
