Manhattan Beach : Parking Meters to Be Closed
The City Council has approved a request by the Chamber of Commerce to cover all parking meters on city streets and in city-owned lots from Dec. 1 through Dec. 24, to encourage holiday shopping.
The only exceptions will be parking lots jointly controlled by the city and the county, which are at Manhattan Beach Pier, on 26th Street and in El Porto.
