Tugboat Frees Cruise Ship That Ran Aground in Fog

The cruise ship Pacific Northwest Explorer, carrying 100 passengers and crew members, ran aground in dense fog on the Columbia River before dawn Friday but was later freed by a tugboat, a Coast Guard spokesman said. No injuries were reported.
