Placentia : Council Votes to Raise Some of City’s User Fees
The City Council has increased a number of user fees by 3% to 5%, city officials said Friday.
The council vote was unanimous, said Placentia Finance Director Frank Dunnavant. Most of the price increases are related to fees the city charges to process building and development plans, he said.
Tuesday’s move by the council is expected to increase city revenues by about $3,500 to $4,000 a year, Dunnavant said.
Roger Kemp, city administrator, said the fee increases are a regular occurrence. “We do it twice a year to keep our user fees in line with the cost of providing services,” Kemp said.
