Santa Ana : Cocaine, Guns Seized in Raid; Six in Custody

Six men were in custody Sunday following a raid on an apartment complex where more than two pounds of cocaine were seized, along with cash and weapons, police said.

The arrests and seizures at the complex in the 2800 block of North Bristol Street were the result of a three-week investigation by the Santa Police Department’s crime task force, Lt. Robert Helton said.

Police confiscated about 2.2 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of $80,000, two handguns, a shotgun and $5,000 in cash about 1 p.m. Saturday, Helton said.

Those arrested on a variety of narcotics charges, including possession of cocaine, were Salvador Valencia, 31, of Anaheim; Mario Orellano, 29, of Los Angeles; and Rodolfo Figueroa, 38, Pedro Ocequeda, 33, Antonio Azuara, 27, and Fausto Gutierrez, 29, all of Santa Ana.
