P.V. Estates : Alzado Home Selected

The City Council gave conceptual approval this week to an application by the Sandpipers philanthropic group to hold its annual Design House at the home of former Los Angeles Raiders lineman Lyle Alzado. Alzado, a resident of Palos Verdes Estates, lives on Via Coronel.

Full approval is expected at the council meeting Oct. 28 when the Sandpipers present a clarification of parking plans for the event, scheduled for April 21 to May 17, 1987.

The Sandpipers annually select a home to be decorated by a team of professional interior designers. Upon completion, the public is admitted to view the home. Proceeds go to charity.
