A 19-year-old Santa Ana man died Saturday morning of gunshot wounds suffered in a drive-by shooting Friday night that authorities suspect was gang-related, police said. The victim, Ernesto Larios, was attending a party in the 1500 block of West 6th Street and was standing in the front yard about 11 p.m. when several shots were fired from a passing vehicle, Police Lt. David Salazar said, adding that one bullet struck Larios in the head. Friends took Larios to the UCI Medical Center, where he died at about 6 a.m., Salazar said. Although police have no suspects in the shooting, the circumstances suggest it was gang-related, Salazar said.
