City Sets Building Permit Record
A record for monthly permit valuations issued by Chino since it was incorporated 76 years ago was reported in August with a total of $18,528,308.
Construction started in August on several major facilities. Among them are the Rail Center, a six-building industrial complex; Davidson P. W. P.’s 361,400-square-foot plywood manufacturing facility, and seven buildings at the Pipeline Business Center. Permits also were issued for a Target Department Store in the Chino Town Square project, scheduled to open next March.
