Gateway Communications Inc. said it has completed the move into its new corporate, manufacturing and marketing facility in Irvine.

Payments on the five-year, five-month lease for the 22,000-square-foot building will total $1.1 million, the company said.

The maker of computer networking and communications systems said the new location is three times larger than its previous quarters, which also were in Irvine.

Sales have been increasing sharply since mid-1985, said company officials. They attributed the gain to a wider product line.
