CORONA — Authorities Wednesday identifed the man who died when he was thrown from his vehicle on the Riverside Freeway as Leo Tatian, 59, of Orange.
He was driving alone Tuesday morning when he lost control of his 1986 Ford Bronco, which overturned, said John Anderson, spokesman for the California Highway Patrol in Riverside. The accident occurred on the eastbound side of the freeway west of Serfas Club Drive.
Tatian was not wearing a seat belt. He was thrown from the rolling truck and suffered fatal head injuries.
Highway Patrol officers ask anyone who may have seen the accident to call Anderson or CHP Officer Terry Taylor at (714) 688-8000.
