Professor Honored for Discovery of Old Music

The National Archive of Mexico and the Spanish Institute of Musicology have honored Robert M. Stevenson, a UCLA professor of music, for his discovery of Latin American and Spanish musical documents. The two organizations dedicated books to Stevenson for finding an 18th-Century Mexican musical document and a 17th-Century Spanish manuscript in his studies.
