Planning Assn. Elects Slate of New Directors

Marsha Rood, project manager for the Pasadena Development Department, has been elected director of the Los Angeles section, American Planning Assn., California chapter.

Others elected include Steve Preston, La Verne principal planner, vice director-policy; Don Nollar, Pasadena director of planning, housing and development services, vice director-membership; Rita Darnell, El Monte city planner, vice director-programs, and Luke Sims, Pasadena senior planner, vice director-professional development.

Christine Shingleton, Signal Hill director of planning and community development, and Jennifer Coile, associate of Katz Hollis Coren & Associates Inc., were elected as vice directors at large, and others elected were Carol Inge, Inglewood Redevelopment Agency associate planner, secretary-treasurer; Catriona Bryan, Los Angeles planner, editor of Dispatch, the section’s newsletter, and Steven Gerhardt, environmental planner for BCL Associates Inc., public information officer.
