For some time now I have been reading Sam Hall Kaplan’s column and appreciating its even-handedness and clear sensibilities, often at odds with developers and city planners.
The coverage of the City Council, with respect to Proposition U, is a true public service. His piece last Sunday was directly to the point and powerful.
Keep it up. There are many of us out here, native and not, who welcome Kaplan’s work as a champion for the people and a saner environment.
