Cathedral 18, St. Genevieve 17--Javier Lopez’s two-point conversion run with 21 seconds left in the game capped a Cathedral rally in a Santa Fe League game at Cathedral.
The Phantoms started their game-winning drive on the St. Genevieve 25 after a bad snap on a St. Genevieve punt. Lopez hit Daniel Lorenzo with a 20-yard pass, and then ran five yards for the touchdown.
St. Genevieve (3-5, 1-4 in league) led 17-3 after three quarters.
Lopez completed 6 of 21 passes for 59 yards and carried the ball 23 times for 53 yards for Cathedral (2-8, 2-3 in league).
