Raymond W. Ferris and Richard J. Riordan have been elected to the board of directors of Mattel.
Ferris is executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Hawthorne toy company. Riordan is a partner in the law firm of Riordan & McKinzie and is an investor in Mattel. Riordan previously served on the board from July, 1984, to March, 1986.
