A 32-year-old Hermosa Beach man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, police said. The man, whose identity was being withheld pending notification of his family, died at 2:50 a.m. when the motorcycle slammed into a pole near Newland Street, Police Sgt. Larry Miller said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of head and internal injuries.
