A female Riverside County sheriff’s deputy and a former deputy filed a sexual harassment suit in Los Angeles federal court against Riverside County Sheriff’s Capt. William Park, supervisor of the department’s Hemet office. The suit, filed by attorney Gloria Allred on behalf of Betty Rommerskirchen, 43, a deputy in the Hemet office, and V. Shawn Birney, 33, a former deputy in Hemet, accuses Park of “constant and pervasive sexual harassment” of the two women officers. Also named in the suit are Riverside County and Sheriff Bernard J. Clark.
