One of three white supremacists charged with a wave of bombings in downtown Coeur d’Alene in September pleaded innocent Thursday in district court.

Robert E. Pires, 22, along with David Dorr and Edward Hawley, is charged with tossing bombs at a federal building, a restaurant and a retail complex Sept. 29. A fourth bomb at a military recruiting office did not explode. No one was injured in the explosions allegedly aimed at diverting police from the trio’s plans to rob banks and steal guns from a National Guard armory. The robberies never took place.
